Harry’s story

We are proud to be one of the very few family-run businesses that breed our own Highland cattle. We are also the only company in the Czech Republic to process the meat from our farm in our restaurant. Our fold of Highland cattle is reared in the open air on the pastures of a family farm near the village of Slapy nad Vltavou. Unlike commercial farms, we use no feed supplements. While this means less growth, it also guarantees a superior quality of meat. This is evidenced not only by its darker colour but also by its unique taste. Other ingredients are purchased from local suppliers, such as the Vykáň vegetable farm, the popular Amaso or the Krasolesí farm.
